Consultation & Education

Seattle Counseling Service can provide speakers and trainers for your staff, club, community group, school, business, or other organization. Members of our staff are experts in issues relating to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and can also speak generally or specifically about mental health and/or chemical dependency.

We also offer special population (sexual minority) consultations for service providers at other agencies. This service can be contracted on an on-going basis or arranged for one-time only.

As Seattle's only community based mental health and chemical dependency agency dedicated to the LGBT community, Seattle Counseling Service offers a specially-focused internship program to students in counseling and social work programs. We host an average of ten interns per year from numerous area universities and colleges.
