On June 10, 2006 SCS sold out Town Hall with ICON 3: a celebration of drag, art and life, the evening a star-studded success for the agency. “I can’t believe how wonderful the night has been,” said producer and host Aleksa Manila. “Tonight’s response to our show has been overwhelming. Not only were the performers fantastic, the audience was so enthusiastic with their response it just made the evening a joy.”
With standout impersonations and performances by the likes of Sean Paul, Arnoldo! Drag Chanteuse, Lady Chablis, Nina Maxwell, The Queen Bees, Sylvia O’Stayformore, Your Gay Lover and legendary Cher impersonator Smokee, the evening was a cavalcade of excitement and energy right from the very start.
