Support Us
Your donation to Seattle Counseling Service will help us to succeed in our mission to provide the LGBT communities with high-quality mental health and chemical dependency services. We appreciate your support!
HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS
Over 85% of our clients are low-income. Your donation will help SCS to provide these critical services at little or no cost to community members in need.
$1,000 provides a year of weekly group sessions for a long-term survivor of HIV/AIDS, offering support, resources, and coping skills.
$500 pays for a year of printed materials to help young people struggling with coming out and discrimination at school and home.
$250 pays for three sessions of crisis intervention to victims of intimate partner (domestic) violence.
$125 puts a client on the path to overcoming addictions to alcohol, crystal meth, or other substances.
$75 provides an individual session with a caring, competent therapist to explore issues of coming out or gender identity.
WHERE YOUR DONATION GOES
Make your donation to our general fund and we will put your money to use where it is most needed. If you prefer, direct your dollars to a particular area or program--just indicate on your payment form: Project NEON, Youth, HIV/AIDS, Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, or any other area you wish to specifically support. We'll make sure your donation is put to work immediately serving our LGBT clients.
