Getting help is easy. The first step is to complete our Application for Services. This can be done online or by completing a paper application.

As an alternative, you can print a copy of our Application for Services Form. After you complete the form, you can mail it in or drop it off at:

If you do not have access to a printer and would like us to mail an application form to you, just give us a call at (206) 323-1768 or email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once we've received your application, it will be reviewed by David, our Client Services Coordinator. David will then contact you, usually within three business days, to arrange for your first appointment. Wait times for appointments vary, subject to availability. WHAT TO EXPECT
Your first appointment, called an intake or assessment, will be focused on learning more about your needs and goals for treatment. This session generally takes about two hours.
After the first session, you will be matched with an individual counselor best suited to your needs and goals. You will meet with this counselor for individual sessions and they will become your point of contact for all services at SCS.
Seattle Counseling Service accepts Medicaid and many private insurance plans. If you do not have insurance coverage, services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on your monthly income.
